The Way to Life Made Plain

Dear Reader: We must all meet God. Are you prepared? Are you saved? This is a very important question. Your happiness or misery for all eternity is involved in it.

Perhaps you say, “No, I am not,” or “I am not sure.” If so, then carefully consider your condition. God says: “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way.” Isaiah 53:6. Have you gone astray? Yes! God says all have. What is the condition of a stray sheep? It is lost. What then is your condition? You are lost. Do not deny it, for if you do, you deceive yourself and make God a liar. Admit the truth of God’s Word and think what it means — Lost. But notice this good news: “And the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:6. Think of it! All your sin was laid on Jesus at the Cross of Calvary. “Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” John 1:29. The man, Christ Jesus, died in your place. He “put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself” Heb. 9:26. And now God in His great love freely offers the gift of eternal life to sinners. Will you receive it? “The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” Romans 6:23. Those who receive Christ receive Eternal Life and are thereby born again; those who do not receive Him shall never see life, but shall die in their sins and suffer punishment forever. Won’t you receive this Jesus as your Saviour? Those who do are forgiven and cleansed from sin and protected from wrath to come by His shed blood.

Jesus said: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life” John 5:24. The Cross stands forever between death and judgment for those who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. (See diagram.)

If you reject the Cross by not believing on Christ as your Saviour, you pass on to judgment and eternal punishment. “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures.” I Cor. 15:3, and now everyone who believes on the risen and living Christ, at the right hand of God, passes from death into life.

If you have definitely received Jesus, the Son of God, as your Saviour, and if you now, with the mouth, openly confess Him as your Lord Rom. 10:9-11. You must believe you are saved, otherwise you are an unbeliever and cannot have the assurance of Salvation, because you make God a liar. I John 5:10-13.

Here are the only two ways. If you have not accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour, you are now in the way leading to eternal punishment and hell. Which way do you choose? If you remain in the “broad way,” it is because you love Sin and choose to stay there. Don’t Blame God!

GOD’S WORD
“He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”John 3:36 “Who His (Christ) own self bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by Whose stripes ye were healed.” I Peter 2:24 “He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the Blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of Grace.” Hebrews 10:28-29

THE GOSPEL
1. Christ Crucified — He died for me, a sinner.
2. Christ Buried — the Believer’s sins blotted out.
3. Christ Risen — He is able to Save completely.
4. Christ Manifested — He is Coming again. I Corinthians 15:1-5

“The Gospel… is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth.”Romans 1:16

Believe God’s Word now. Receive Christ as your Saviour now. Do not put if off, for that is one of Satan’s devices to keep you from being saved. Satan says: “Tomorrow.” God says: “Today.”

Begin to count on the man Christ Jesus as your Saviour and to confess Him as your Lord before men. Do it now. Will you?
