Thanks for Your Friendly Service
WE ALL NEGLECT to show appreciation for the helpful things others do for us. By expressing thanks we add happiness along life’s pathway and brighten our own lives as well as those around us. This spirit of gratitude for favors received is surely desirable toward our loving Heavenly Father.
How grateful we should be for the bountiful way God blesses us. We have material prosperity and peace beyond that of other nations. We have also the open Bible, unhindered freedom of worship, and ready access to the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
This Gospel is the historic fact that Christ took upon Himself the sins of mankind and paid the penalty for all of us by His death on the cross. There Christ paid the full price of our redemption. Surely we should be deeply grateful for this most important of all of God’s gracious provisions.
“The Lord hath laid on Him (Jesus) the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:6 “God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever BELIEVETH in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”John 3:16
Let us all in appreciation say: “Thank you Lord!” “Come into my heart and forgive my sins.” “Apply the precious Blood, and make me your child.”
Friend, try saying this to God as a sincere prayer. He’ll take you at your word and transform your life, filling it with joy and peace and love. He’ll remove your sins and credit the perfect righteousness of Christ.
Try it, NOW! You have nothing to lose but your wretched bondage to sin and Satan — you have Eternal Life to gain here and now, and a glorious home in Heaven throughout eternity.
The risen Christ says: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man (that means YOU) hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in.” Revelation 3:20. Why not, right now, open the door of your heart and ask Jesus to come in? He promises to come in. So ask Him and believe that He keeps His Word.
Then thank and praise Him from your heart — and see what happens in your life.
