“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” God is my personal provider and ever present guardian. He has promised to give me my lawful wants and to fill my needs. Philippians 4:19, III John 2

“He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.” I rest in the knowledge of His abundant supply; He encourages my soul during times of deep, quiet spiritual refreshment. Psalm 84:11

“He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.” I am renewed continually by His love for me. I follow Him and do not stray from the narrow way so that He may be glorified. Matthew 7:13-14, Matthew 5:48

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.” Even though the world surrounds me with temptation, danger and death, I feel safe and secure because of His watchful care over me. Psalm 34:4, Psalm 32:7

“Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” Sometimes His greatest blessings come during the most difficult trials. I am able to partake of the Lord’s bounty at leisure because my enemies are powerless against Him; He honors my presence with gracious hospitality which overwhelms me because I am so unworthy. Psalm 68:19

“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.” I know the evil one is trying to follow me, but God is following even closer and I can feel His peace and security. As wonderful as He is to me today, I know this is only a taste of the future He is preparing for me. Psalm 145:1-10, Matthew 28:20, John 14:2-3

Would you like to have this Shepherd living in your life? If you are willing to come to Him as a guilty and undeserving sinner, He is willing to give you eternal life as a gift, bought and paid for on the cross of Calvary.
