Death Swallowed by Death
Death is something that brings fear to us all. It can never be changed in life. But, by knowing the truth you can be set free from the fear of death.
Did you know?
If you are born once you die twice!
If you are born twice you die once!
If you are Born Once means; the physical birth of a man from his mothers womb.
Dying twice means:
Christianity speaks of two types of death.
01. The death which finishes life on this earth.
02. The spiritual death which occurs due to the nature of sin and iniquity and leads man to the place called the lake of fire or eternal hell. This is the most tragic situation from which a man will not able to be set free from.
Being Born Twice means; A man who is born once of his mother’s womb, coming to life in his spiritual mind. This is the second birth.
How do you receive this new birth which is of a spiritual mind?
The Lord Jesus Christ bore the sins and curse of all mankind on the cruel cross and suffered all pain and sorrow and sacrificed His life on it. “Surely He hath born our grief’s, and carried our sorrows: …But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him:” (Isaiah 53:4, 5). By believing in that sacrificial death wholeheartedly man can be totally set free from eternal sin and curse that is the second death.
In this manner Death is swallowed by Death! If a person wholeheartedly believes that Jesus Christ died on the cross on that day for his sin and by the sacrifice of the Lord; forgiveness is received and he can be set free from the second death which is the fearful punishment which is received after physical death on this earth.
The Lord conquered death and rose to life on the third day. The person who believes this truth during his lifetime is free from the second death. After the first or physical death he or she will receive eternal heavenly life for sure. May the Lord help you to attain this!
